From late in the original Sweet Home production years, comes this fine plate of rhodochrosite. This specimen features fantastic coverage of rhodochrosite rhombs with good luster and color. Plates such as this are very hard to recover in good condition, but this specimen is overall very nice. There is a noticable area of damage near the bottom left (as pictured), however this doesn’t take away from the piece too much. Less the damaged area, the rhodochrosite is sharp with no major cleaved crystals and only minor negligible damage on the periphery.
