The Shuikoushan Mine in Hunan, China is known for producing some of the world’s finest sphalerites – and it’s easy to see why when looking at a specimen such as this. Featuring 4 prominent lustrous gemmy sphalerite crystals on a quartz matrix, this is a great example for the mine. Much better in person. Lights up very well. It should be noted that this specimen is sawed on the bottom for display purposes.
