A beautiful cabinet sized specimen of spessartine and smoky quartz from the Wushan Spessartine Mine in China. This locality is no longer producing, and specimens like this one are getting more difficult to find. This one features many of the desirable qualities, such as gemmy smoky quartz – some with included garnets – and lustrous spessartine. Some damage to a few quartz tips, as seen, but otherwise in very nice condition.
