Besides the Sweet Home Mine, the Sunnyside Mine is probably Colorado’s most famous locality for rhodochrosite crystals. This textbook Sunnyside specimen features dozens of pink rhodochrosite crystals, with stepped octahedral fluorite crystals that exhibit fantastic blue fluorescence under UV light. Combos such as this are getting harder and harder to come by.
