This wonderful and aesthetic small-cabinet piece is cluster of radial sprays composed of highly lustrous, metallic, and silvery Stibnite crystals from the well-known and ancient deposits in Romania. There are about five sprays, and they are intergrown at various angles, which creates excellent 360 views of the piece. The largest of the Stibnite needles is about 5 cm long, and the luster and form are also excellent for all. These sprays sit on a plate of white Quartz crystals, which provide an inviting, muted contrast to display the dramatic Stibnites on. It is fair to refer to Baia Sprie as 'renowned', as the best of its Stibnites are counted among the world's finest in quality on absolute terms, if not by size (or volume) compared to China. I recall having this decades ago, and getting it back - it is memorable: a choice, unusually elegant example from a historic locale. PLEASE NOTE - hand delivery only, no shipment.
