Gorgeous rich and smooth lavender color, reminiscent of the Apatites with the famous 'Pulsifer purple' coloration, is one of the highlights of this remarkable cluster from Pech. The glassy, transparent-to-translucent crystals range from a general hexagonal and tabular form to prismatic. Some are equant, and several are elongated along the a or b axis, with the longest dimension on one of these crystals being 1.7 cm across. They intergrow in an extended set of clusters, and they are anchored on a white, sugary matrix. This elongated look is very sculptural, and the rich color adds to the fine and interesting aesthetics. Apatite of this color saturation is really only seen in a handful of specimens around the world, despite the abundance of Apatite at so many localities. Also, there is orange fluorescence seen when the crystals are lit up looking down the c-axis. Very attractive and fine, this is even better in person. From 2025 finds, an outstanding and unusual "daisy chain" of crystals.
