This rare, titanium-bearing member of the Vesuvianite group is only found in a few worldwide localities, with the most desirable specimens from here at the type locality in Russia. This specimen features a sharp, blackish-green, prismatic tetragonal crystal with good luster. About as good as it gets, this doubly-terminated crystal is 3.1 cm and sits aesthetically on serpentine matrix. One of the finest in its size class, that we have seen, it is a textbook crystal.
