Aesthetically perched on top of its matrix is a 3 cm tall, doubly-terminated, lustrous, blackish-green crystal of wiluite, a close relative of vesuvianite. There are a few gemmy green highlights in evidence when the crystal has light on it. This is a well-exposed and beautiful example of this rare species from its type locality.
