This quite substantial Epidote crystal group is from the all-time classic European locality at Knappenwand in Austria. Comprising at least five, sub-parallel terminated glossy, very dark green prismatic crystals, this is a much broader specimen than the typical narrow prismatic individual crystals seen from this famous Alpine locality. It has three repairs in the section below the top of the two tallest crystals but at 9.5 cm tall this is a huge Knappenwand Epidote and it has all of its terminations in place. A significant Austrian Epidote.
