Rock crystal cross w/ botryoidal calcite

Hieflwand-Steinkarl, Hüttwinkl valley, Rauris

Found around the year 2000 by the local field collector Ludwig "Lug" Rasser jun. The picture of the landscape shows the end of the Hüttwinkl valley with the Hohe Sonnblick Mt. (3.106 m) on the left. The front area is called "Steinkarl" and the wall on the right side above is the "Hieflwand".

The specimen was on public display in the collector's case "Rauriser Stoasucha" at the Munich Show 2023.
