A gorgeous jewel-like baryte from a generally obscure (to outsiders) old locality in France, rare in such quality. This was collected by Paul Zerfass, well known French field collector, who went into older workings here to find specimens in the 1970s-80s primarily. Illustrated in Le Regne Mineral, in a long article on his collection after we purchased it (June 2017). lt was later sold by us to, and in the private collection, of French dealer Alain Martaud.
