Shilu Mine in China has produced some of the most gorgeously velvety malachites, of anywhere. The problem is that the specimens are usually either flat, or too large. This, however, is a three-dimensional piece in a collectible size, with incredible play of color as you hold and move it in the hand. The velvety surface is pristine. Better in person!
