This is a nicely balanced colourful small cabinet Fluorite from the famous Okorusu mine in Namibia. Dominated by a 2.3 cm wide classic, Okorusu-style cubic crystal with modified stepped corners and smooth glassy faces. This crystal is transparent, colour-zoned and contains spongy, or cloud-like inclusion at its base, sitting upon a bed of smaller intergrown Fluorite crystals and with a few areas of white Quartz overgrowth. Internally, the core if the main crystal is lime-green, grading outwards through colourless and into a thin outer electric blue band, but when rotated purple undertones shine through due to the combination of colours. There are a couple of slight chips to its edges and minor scuffing to one side but it displays really nicely and with illumination from behind its colours really stand out. Ex Weyand Collection in Tsumeb, this is most likely an older specimen.
