This classic smaller Cave-in-Rock Fluorite specimen is one of the richest golden-amber colours that you will see from this area in Hardin Co., Illinois. Forming a larger miniature-sized cluster of cubic crystals, the main crystal reaches over 4 x 2.5 cm on its front edges, which are pristine, and with directional lighting shows a fine internal glow due to its great translucency, with a thin purple band just inside its one edge. The next largest crystal in the grouping has one corner cleaved and an irregular outer edge but acts as the basis from which the main crystal rises. Exceptional colour and glassy lustre for Cave-in-Rock. Ex Arvid Pasto Collection.
