When it comes to stunning miniature specimens from Cave-in-Rock, this one is particularly special. It could be argued that it has it all, but I will let you be the judge. Here is the evidence: a smaller aggregate of off-matrix, classic Cave-in-Rock rich purple cubic Fluorite crystals, but which display an intense plum-coloured core when backlit; subtle, but well-defined epitaxial overgrowth of extended cubes of Fluorite upon the corners and edges of the larger cubes; a sparse, yet obvious scattering of small golden crystals of Chalcopyrite across the display faces; all presented with no obvious damage on the display faces.
