This very pretty, colour-zoned (pale to darker purple) cubic Fluorite crystal sat gracefully upon a small piece of orange-brown crystallized Sphalerite is a super miniature combination piece from the famous Elmwood mine in Tennessee, USA. Reaching a little shy of 2 cm on edge, the Fluorite crystal looks superb from its display direction but does have a corner chipped on its backside, otherwise it would be the perfect miniature. Nevertheless, this is a great example of the classic appearance of Fluorite from Elmwood mine, with a strong glassy lustre, excellent transparency and wonderful colour. Minor Calcite. Ex Arvid Pasto Collection.
