Small cabinet in size, this rarely seen fine combination of bladed Baryte crystals on Fluorite from the famous Denton mine probably originated from the workings during the 1990s. The contrast between cream coloured blades of Baryte with slightly orange tips and the darker, almost matt, purple angular cubic Fluorite matrix gives an almost artistic, or sculptural feel to the specimen. The 'island' of Baryte extends to 3.0 x 2.9 cm. There are a few slight chips to some of the Fluorite crystals but these are relatively minor. Ex Arvid Pasto Collection.
