This miniature Fluorite is from Doublestrike Prospects in Grant County, New Mexico, USA, a lesser-known locality, but one where some striking zoned crystals have been found. This piece is dominated by an individual cubic crystal some 1.3 cm on edge with unusual beveled edges and a somewhat etched surface but translucent with a two-tone purple-blue colour. A noticeable internal cleavage plane can be seen crossing one corner of the crystal, but there is no apparent external contact damage. Ex Arvid Pasto Collection, this is a rare locality piece for systematic Fluorite collectors or those focused on New Mexico localities.
