With its summit at over 4,100 m Mt. White is a seriously high altitude pegmatite mineral locality in central Colorado. The area has produced some interesting specimens in its history, and this piece is a great example. It was collected by the Colorado collector George Robertson in July 1982, and was a gift to Richard Kosnar shortly after it was found. Small cabinet in size it hosts several soft green and purple colour-zoned, octahedral Fluorite crystals sitting on minor Albite. It has good translucency and a frosted matte luster, and is very good for a pegmatite Fluorite from Colorado. Ex Arvid Pasto Collection and Ex Richard Kosnar Collection.
