Individual Herkimer Diamond Quartz crystals are commonly cute little jewels that are usually thumbnail in size but every now and then a much larger crystal is discovered. This is a perfectly balanced, full-sized miniature single: a single doubly-terminated Herkimer Quartz specimen that is more substantial and robust, measuring almost 5 cm in size, that is transparent, glassy, lustrous, and gemmy. A 360-degree specimen that is complete all around with ultrasharp crystal form. There is also an intriguing faint phantom of an almost Smoky nature seen in the upper half of the crystal. The piece is in great condition with some minor nicks and matrix contacting towards the base. There is also minor internal fracturing on the right corner, but all the exterior crystal faces are complete and intact.
