Magnificent and truly gem-transparent single Japan Law twinned Quartz crystal perched on a bed of sparkling, tiny Quartz crystals from the Gunyahang Quartz Mine in Nepal, which is known for its incredible Japan Law twins. This sharp, well-formed crystal, measuring 1.0 cm by 1.1 cm, has striations that reverse at the center twin plane forming an inverted “V” pattern and showing the Japan Law twin growth. The three-dimensional display combined with the quality of the lustrous isolated Quartz crystal is outstanding. A phenomenal perfect little jewel! The aesthetics are further enhanced by the tiny starbursts of secondary Quartz clusters all around the base of the dominant crystal. The piece is in near pristine condition with no visible imperfections to the main Quartz crystal. A beautiful Japan Law twin Quartz specimen with a refined look and an exception crystal. Ex. William (Bill) Larson Quartz Collection. This collection was built since the 1980s and on exhibit for decades in his jewelry and mineral store in Fallbrook, California.
