A rare example of a polyhedral agate from Brazil. These are totally strange, unique things, apparently unique to a small region in Brazil. How do they form? I do not recall ever getting a satisfactory answer! Slices are common enough on the market, although quality is rare. But this is an endcap, showing how they form in nature and revealing the outside rough surface as well, also follows the trapezohedral shape. A strange mineral oddity!
