This very large miniature Fluorite from El Filo vein, Santa Librada, Durango, Mexico displays the classic form one expects from Fluorite from this famous site. The Fluorite forms 1 cm sized intergrown cubes with the usual dull surface lustre and rich purple colour, zoned from pale in the centre of the faces to dark along the edges with fine translucency. A thin piece of cream coloured sparry matrix attached to one side of the Fluorite adds a nice contrast in colour with the Fluorite forming a broad rib along the edge.
