The quality of this 'V'-shaped Cerussite twin from Touissit in Morocco is absolutely top drawer. It has everything you could wish for: size, shape, lustre, sharp edges. Its longest edge is an impressive 8.3 cm in length with the shorter twin 6.5 cm long. The contact between the two is extremely well defined, enhanced by the linear crystallographic striations seen on the silky surface of the two crystals. Internally, the Cerussite crystals are pale fudge to white in colour with distinct internal zones of colour. The terminal faces are glossy and perfectly smooth and all round there is virtually no damage - a remarkable feat for Cerussite. There are just a few slight chips to the upper edges in three places, but these do not detract from its appearance and overall quality. Ex Nick Hawes collection and Ex Shirley Adrian collection.
