This fine, amber coloured Fluorite specimen comes from Sidi Ayed in the Fès-Meknès Region, Morocco. It forms an attractive long display specimen consisting of a massive Calcite matrix coated completely on the top surface in cubic crystals to 1 cm on edge. The crystals are not totally glassy, but are transparent to translucent. There is chipping to the edges of some crystals, but from a display standpoint it is very nice as a Moroccan Fluorite.
