This specimen is dominated by two iconic Panasqueira glassy pale grey short prismatic Fluorapatite crystals, both 2.3 cm wide. These crystals show slight internal fracturing, but are in great condition, with only the slightest of surface blemishes, and displaying wonderful vertical crystallographic striations and fine bevelled corners. Many other equally well-formed, but smaller, squat prisms of Fluorapatite adorn the surface, protruding through beige coloured Siderite. On the reverse, the specimen is richly coated in shiny silver crystals of Arsenopyrite and greenish rosettes of Muscovite mica. A super, large miniature of classic Panasqueira mine material that displays superbly with support. Ex Nick Hawes collection.
