A cabinet sized gem heliodor crystal from the famed Volodarsk Mine in Ukraine. The last producing pocket of heliodor specimens at this locality has been mined out, and with the ongoing war there will not likely be new production any time soon. This particular specimen was confirmed by the mine owners son to be from Pocket 445, Level 1, Mine #2, at a depth of 60 meters. A truly fantastic gem crystal. The Heliodor specimens from this mine are widely regarded as some of the finest to ever be discovered. I do not note any damage the piece is in excellent condition. The piece includes a custom cut acrylic base for easy display.
