Over the last several years the mines near Zard in Balochistan, Pakistan have produced certainly the finest brookite specimens in the world. Lesser known, but still world-class are the anatase specimens produced in the same area. The quality of the crystals is as fine as anything produced from Norway. This one is a pristine plate with 3 sharp crystals standing up from a sparkling white feldspar matrix.
