Presenting this gorgeous and truly interesting rare Shattuckite which is a rare copper silicate that forms from the alteration of other copper minerals. It was first discovered in 1915 in the copper mines of Bisbee, Arizona, from the Shattuck Mine. To date, there have been very few Quartz-included Shattuckite specimens of great significance. Making this piece not only exceptional from an aesthetics standpoint but also incredibly rare and esoteric for a mineral specimen. The Shattuckite in this specimen has a stunningly bright, royal-blue coloration that is the pinnacle of color for this species. On the far right of the specimen is a nice euhedral Quartz crystal that glistens with smurf blue Shattuckite. The piece has a lovely luster and well-saturated color with a very balanced composition of crystallization. Out of all of the other Shattuckite and Quartz specimens from the Kaokoveld region Namibia and the Congo, this piece has top color and the most attractive aesthetics.
