This big and colourful Beryl var. Aquamarine crystal is incomplete, otherwise its price would be considerably more. It is nevertheless a great example of how large some Brazilian pegmatite Aquamarine can get. Missing terminations at either end, yet still 11.7 cm in length, it is a broadly hexagonal prism exhibiting a really intense Aquamarine blue colour. It comes from the famous gem tourmaline-bearing Agua Branca pegmatite at Coronel Murta in Minas Gerais state.
