A lovely LARGE spessartine garnet on a quartz/muscovite/microcline matrix from the Skardu District of Pakistan. This region is host to an incredible array of world-class gem crystals such as aquamarines, morganites, topaz, etc. Also highly impressive from this area are the remarkable spessartine garnets such as this. This is an excellent example with great color, luster, and complex growth. Very nice for this material.
