Dimensions: 3.6 x 3.8 x 4.3cm Locality: Bubin, Astore District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan A fairly old piece of Zircon from the Bonisoli collection (No. 4259, original label provided with the piece). The quality is surprising, both in terms of crystallography, the crystal is perfect, and its brilliance. Some parts of the crystal have areas with very pronounced red reflections. Despite a deposit that has remained quite productive in Zircon, such high-quality pieces have rarely been found. Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen. The mineral is not glued to the base (soft mastic).
