Sceptered Citrine Quartz
Dimensions: 6.2 x 3.9 x 5.9cm
Locality: Boekenhouthoek, Mkobola, Thembisile Hani Local Municipality, Nkangala District Municipality, Mpumalanga, South Africa
From this deposit north of Pretoria, famous for its typically scepter-shaped amethysts (often locally called cactus amethyst). Citrine pieces were found more rarely, with a beautiful yellow color covering this rather extraordinary scepter crystallization. A well-proportioned specimen that would add a lovely, luminous touch to any collection.
Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen.
The mineral is not glued to the base (flexible sealant).
