Dimensions: 6x4cm Origin: Sar e sang, Kokcha, Afghanistan Pretty crystal on its calcite matrix, a classic of this thousand-year-old deposit. Lazurite, often called Lapis Lazuli, is one of its constituent minerals. Crystals (rhombodecahedrons) with perfect and well drawn faces are quite rare, too often deformed or badly crystallized. Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen. The mineral is not glued to its base (flexible mastic).
