Dimensions: 17 x 13 x 8.2cm Location: Cabiche, Quipama, Boyaca Dist., Colombia Very aesthetic Quartz group, the yellow color of the endings is due to Halloysite inclusions, a typical and unique formation of this deposit. If isolated crystals and small groups are quite common, larger and intact pieces are much rarer and sought after. Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen. The mineral is not stuck to the base (soft putty).
