Celestine on Calcite

Location: Laman, Qala-e Naw District, Badghis Province, Afghanistan
An excellent celestine crystal resting on a microcrystallization of calcite. The crystal is a remarkable crystallographic example with its perfect, doubly terminated faces. A very aesthetically pleasing specimen.
Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen.
