This thumbnail off-matrix cluster of three pale brown squat hexagonal Fluorapatite crystals is from Greifensteine near Ehrenfriedersdorf in Saxony, sometimes mentioned as the Type Locality for Fluorapatite, but Sauberg, also in Ehrenfriedersdorf has priority. The crystals are significant, the largest reaching 1.9 cm across, and although there are a few 'nibbles' to the edges this is a notable specimen from this famous historic area. Ex Hans Engelbrecht Collection, no. 4226.
