Neat locality example for the species.Coro Coro in Bolivia is a historic copper mining district that has been worked since pre Columbian times and later extensively developed during the Spanish colonial period. The deposits occur in sedimentary rocks and are notable for native copper mineralization, which was mined through both small scale and larger operations. Mining continued into the 19th and 20th centuries with varying levels of activity.
