Here we have a fabulous, translucent, multicolored gem tourmaline from Mozambique. The specimen came to me with a label pinpointing the locality as the Nhranga Mine, which does not have a large amount of information published online. It is almost certainly from the Alto Ligonha pegmatite field, a large area stretching approximately 200 km in diameter that contains many gem-bearing pegmatites.
