NATIVE Silver with Galena in Baryte$250.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This is not so much an aesthetic specimen, more a rare old-time classic, with great original labels. The specimen itself is a dense miniature-sized block of crystallized white bladed Baryte, but not terminated crystals. Intergrown with the Baryte are small patches of dark grey Galena, showing cubic cleavage surfaces and tiny patches of rounded Native Silver metal. This Native Silver is unfortunately not in the 'christmas tree'-like herringbone form for which this area is famed but is at least present, and with it are two lovely old handwritten labels, one of which looks to be 19th century in origin. It is from the superb collection assembled by the brothers Martin and Michael Günther (1951-2007 & 1956-2021).
