With a real look of 'history' to it, but in a good way, this very rich silver-bearing specimen from the famous Freiberg area in Saxony, Germany is a great proposition. With a dense feel, its top surface is richly carpeted with finely crystallized wire Native Silver as delicate 'nests' with a lovely 'old-time' patina. These wires sit upon a crystallized matrix of dark silvery grey bipyramidal, or octahedral microcrystals of Acanthite with a duller black, possible Native Arsenic, and white shards of Quartz. Ex David Hardman Collection, no. 2152.
