The style of this association of a layer of small beige coloured Scheelite crystals upon a single, sturdy prismatic crystal of white dappled Smoky Quartz is iconic of Cínovec/Zinnwald in the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge) straddling the border between Saxony, Germany and Bohemia in Czechia. This really fine example from Hans Engelbrecht's collection (no. 74) was reportedly (on his label) found in 1980 and reaches 7.9 cm tall. Its upper parts are complete all round with just the tiniest of nicks to the tip of its termination.
