This small cabinet-sized specimen of Fluorite from Heißer Stein mine in the Wölsendorf Fluorite Mining District, Bavaria, Germany has a wonderfully distinctive association - with a thin layer of small doubly-terminated red, Hematite-included Quartz crystals, known as the variety Eisenkiesel, along one edge of the Fluorite cubes. The Fluorite crystals, which form the majority of the specimen, are a gooseberry to beige colour, but very reflective and bright, with great internal translucency. This is a really fine example of this classic combination, with great sharp edges to the Fluorite crystals.
