Really well-crystallized colourless Fluorite specimens are really quite rare, from anywhere. This sizable display specimen from Huanggang Fe-Sn deposit in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China comes from Arvid Pasto's amazing Fluorite collection. It features many perfect, water-clear Fluorite crystals, showing strong development of cubo-octahedral forms and individually reaching over 2 cm in size. Underneath the Fluorite appears to lie an aggregate, or perhaps a crystal, of Calcite, with the Fluorite covering nearly the whole of its upper surfaces as a magnificent array of perfectly glassy blocky crystals.
