A cluster of lustrous sharp cubic pyrite crystals. In good condition.Magnet Cove in Hot Spring County, Arkansas is a small but geologically unusual alkaline igneous complex formed by intrusive magma rich in rare elements. The rocks include nepheline syenite, carbonatite, and related alkaline types that crystallized deep underground. These rocks contain a wide variety of rare minerals and elements such as titanium, niobium, and rare earth elements. The locality is well known among geologists and collectors for its unusual mineral species and complex igneous geology.
