Fluorite with Ferberite Quartz, Arsenopyrite and Muscovite

Perched gracefully upon a small sliver of Muscovite matrix this intensely glassy bright violet-purple certainly looks very smart indeed. From Arvid Pasto's famous Fluorite collection, the sharp stepped cubic form is enhanced further by internal colour zonation with a thin deeper blue band just inside its edges. There are a couple of slight chips to corners of the Fluorite, but most of its tips (and there are more than one might expect due to its stepping) are very sharp indeed. Small Ferberite, Arsenopyrite and Quartz crystals are also present. As one might expect, this fine Chinese Fluorite is from the famous Yaogangxian mine renowned for its remarkable individual cubes of colourful and glassy Fluorite.
