Chamosite after Almandine
Unknown Owner
Classic North American pseudomorph specimen with sharp crystals of what were once almandine measuring just over 2.0 cm in size frozen up on a schist matrix. These crystals are then replaced by chamosite. A wonderful matrix example for this, in great condition. Collected in August, 1996.
