Elbaite Tourmaline with Lepidolite
This elegant piece is centered on a single, 5.4 cm elbaite crystal. The bottle-green color is lovely, and it is magnified by the crystal's gemminess, glassy luster, and striated prism faces. The elbaite is accented by numerous clusters of hexagonal, purple lepidolite. The crystalline form of these is excellent, and each cluster serves to create the wonderful impression of corsages pinned to the elbaite. The quality and aesthetics of this piece are terrific. Complete all around, no repairs.
