The Yinnietharra Dravite mine in Western Australia is an open cut mine that has been responsible for producing the world’s largest and most impressive dravite crystals since it was first worked in the late 1960s. This is a highly characteristic example from the mine, measuring 8 cm across with classic crystal structure and aesthetics. Nice!
