A great large cabinet example of amethyst from Orange River in South Africa. Great color, size, and display aesthetics for a specimen from this location. I find these amethysts to be very underrated compared to their significantly more common cousins from the Brandberg region of Namibia to the north. NOTE this specimen is sawed on the bottom.
